My Commitments

Visible and Available Leadership: With 11 years supporting the Ward of Broad, I will remain an accessible and proactive advocate for all businesses and residents.

Delivering a Sustainable Future: I will lead the charge for a greener City, ensuring we meet the ambitious goals of the 2040 Net Zero Plan.

Championing Key Industries: I will stand up for businesses in Technology, Pensions, Insurance, and Banking, driving their priorities within the Corporation and influencing Government policy.

Building a Stronger Economy: I will work to diversify the City’s economic base, ensuring it is inclusive, resilient, and positioned for future growth.

Regenerating Landmark Destinations: I will support the transformation of the Barbican Centre, London Museum, Leadenhall Market, and Smithfield to strengthen the City’s cultural and economic appeal.

Backing Small Business Recovery: I will continue to advocate for small businesses, helping them grow and recover fully in the post-pandemic economy.

Leadership

Chris is a natural leader. He has sought out leadership roles through which he can make a positive difference in civic, education and charitable spheres since his early 20s.

A strong passion for the City, proven track record as an elected member of the City of London Corporation, together with great energy and enthusiasm, marks Chris out as somebody worthy of your support.

Charity

As a Trustee of The Honourable The Irish Society Chris plays a key role in maintaining links with Northern Ireland supporting charities in Londonderry and the surrounding area. He is also a Trustee and Chairman of Barts Hospital Guild and a Trustee of Housing for the Homeless Central Fund.
